Sekiro has now sold a staggering 5 million units which is very impressive for a new IP, this is across the three platforms available Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.  This great news comes alongside the recent news from publisher Activision who have announced a free update will be arriving this October.

It was only ten days after its launch that Activision revealed that Sekiro has already sold 2 million copies worldwide. Then it was later in August 2019 that around 4 million copies has been shipped.

Sekiro continued to soar to new heights as it won the Game of the Year at TGA 2019 and of course gained our Fextralife GOTY 2019 as well. With the new additions coming later this year, Sekiro will continue to gain interest from FromSoft fans and those interested in the One-Armed Wolf’s intriguing tale.

Sekiro will be gaining an asynchronous Remnant feature, sharing player recorded moves to show how to defeat foes in the next free update.

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is now available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. If you need some help diving into the grappling samurai game be sure to check out our Sekiro Guides.
