Sweet Bloodborne Hunter Statue announced

For those of us who have been patiently waiting for news of some more sweet Bloodborne swag/memorabilia, I’m pleased to announce the day has finally come. Gecco Corp is producing a Bloodborne Hunter Statue that will be available in December of this year. The Statue is 1/6th scale and features a Hunter wearing the Hunter Set, equipped with the Saw Cleaver and Blunderbuss. Another variation, referred to as the “Puddle of Blood” version will release in February of 2016 and will only have a 1,200 piece production.  That’s the worldwide number by the way.

The main visuals of the video game’s jacket is recreated as a fine art statue, capturing both the front and picturesque back side.

Thoroughly supervised by FromSoftware, all the details of the protagonist “Hunter” dressed in his “Hunter Set” are faithfully sculpted. His “Saw Cleaver” is armed in his right hand, and “Hunter Blunderbuss” is in his left hand. The saw can transform into a cleaver just like in the video game.

Cobblestones and puddles are recreated on the round base, capturing the video game’s world.

This statue features the game’s unique gothic atmosphere.

The sculpture also captures the character’s heroic yet subtle posture standing amidst the deadly “plagued” air of the environment.

Per the manufacturer:

The special bloody paint work was carefully designed to accentuate the sculpture staying away from the often clichéd violence and gore.

    For the statue, I do want it but I wish they would have not been so stingy on the “blood” aestetic. I understand they are going for an Everyone friendly piece, but I think there should be a “Mature” option to get those blood splatters we have all come to love…well at least I have lol.

  3. I was lucky enough to be able to preorder the Puddle of Blood edition, this will be one of the few items I’ve owned that is numbered. ^^ I’ve only just gotten into the Souls series and will be playing through DeS, DS, and DS2 soon, it’s become quite the love affair.

    Note that the final price for the US release went up a little ($315 as opposed to $299).

    It’s not available yet on that site nor for the site for other countries. Currently it seems that preorders are only available for Japan right now on Mamegyorai.

    If you read the last edit ignore it, that was Wholesale distributions, so hey if you have a store you can preorder them right now anyways.

    Edit: Ultra Tokyo Connection’s site worked fine for me but the item isn’t up yet. Gecco of course has the info posted on their site. It’s just not easy to her much more than pictures for an English only guy like myself

  8. Tried using the distributor’s webpage for the United States – Ultra Tokyo Connection (North America) – and it’s broken/useless. Is there somewhere else I can get it?

  9. It is indeed gorgeous. The notification we got contained over 100 detailed images in amazing resolution, it’s hard to do it justice! Really a wonderful piece

  12. That seems legit. Sadly, only a kid, not an adult with a job… Its seems to be very detailed if you ask me. They certainly detailed the hunter outfit. Like the bloody version more than the original one. Reminds people that you hunt, not just wear on Hunter outfits for the sake of looking cool.

  13. My name is on the piece but gotta give a major shout out to Fex and Cas. Group effort piece for sure.

    Also, despite the fact I might need to sell a finger or something to afford this…it’s tempting
