Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Deck13 have shared new information on the upcoming “A Walk in the Park” expansion for The Surge action-RPG.
The Surge – DLC Info
The latest details sheds light on the CREO World amusement park’s “Mascots”, who are some of the new enemy types players will be facing.
As well as a look at one of the 16 new pieces of equipment that can be used against them in the add-on.
A Walk in the Park is set to launch this December 5th for The Surge on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Meet CREO World’s Mascots
In the run-up to release, we’d like to present you some of the most iconic enemies you’ll face in A Walk in the Park!
Time to introduce CREO World’s insane mascots!
CREO World is an amusement park built by CREO for its employees and their families. Forget your cravings for cotton candy though – CREO World was not spared from the disaster!
The robotic mascots of the park have turned insane, as most of CREO’s machines, and will attack you on sight! The most emblematic mascot is the donut, but four different mascots roam the corrupted theme park, each of them advertising the park products, such as coffee, soda or candy bars.
Be careful when fighting against these crazy robots, despite their lack of body armor, they are very agile and can surprise you with fast jump attacks. You can target the mascot heads while fighting and perform a finisher move to severe the loony helmets from the rest of the body.
Of course, as with most pieces of armor worn by your enemies in The Surge, Warren can then equip the mascot heads!
See you soon for another iconic enemy from our upcoming DLC A Walk in the Park!
New Equipment
In the run-up to release, we decided to present you some of the 16 all-new weapons, sets of armor, and implants to upgrade and further customize the way you want to play.
Today is CREO’s ASTir Plasma Augur!
The most rugged and durable of ASTir’s line of Exo-Rig tools, the Plasma Augur is an advanced application of ASTir’s industrial plasma tech. Superheated plasma is modulated by focusing nodes attached to a high-torque drilling column, enabling superior penetration of ultradense materials.
A powerful heavy weapon, acting similarly to a hammer or mace, Warren will find the ASTir Plasma Augur on crazy exoskeleton employees in CREO World.
The Surge is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There’s a The Surge: Complete Edition launching this December 5th.
