Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Arrives on EA Play & Game Pass

Good news for Star Wars fans in the gaming industry. Electronic Arts has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is finally available on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox Series X: Cal Kestis’s adventure arrives a year later.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Will Be Free For Some

Exactly one year ago, we celebrated the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that continued the adventures of Cal Kestis, the surviving padawan of Order 66 who faces new challenges during the galactic civil war period.

According to confirmations, the latest game in the franchise created by George Lucas will be available to subscribers of the California-based company’s service starting from April 25th. However, several PlayStation users reported that they were already able to access the game as of yesterday.

On the other hand, players who have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will also be able to enjoy the game, both on PC and consoles, as EA Play is included in the service.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor A Darker & More Polished Sequel

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the game developed by Respawn Entertainment that is set temporally in the original trilogy of the franchise, between Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.

This installment added much larger planets, themselves open worlds that you can explore even on creatures, and are filled with optional tasks, force powers, and characters to encounter.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was one of the best adventures released last year, and its biggest problem was being released amidst so many other games, so a continuous sequel was somewhat forgotten.

So if you missed it and have EA Play or Game Pass Ultimate (or want to get it very cheaply), this is your moment, as we look to the future, to Ubisoft’s open-world adventure Star Wars Outlaws.
