Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has won the Game of the Year at DICE 2018. This was the 21st annual DICE awards and it was held by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

In addition to scooping up Game of the Year, it also won Adventure Game of the Year, the award for Outstanding Achievement in Game Directon and Outstanding Achievement in Game Design. You can check out the trailer for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild below.
In case you’re wondering whether there were any awards left for any other games, don’t worry – there were still some more to go around. Cuphead won three wins, winnng the awards for Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition.

Horizon Zero Dawn, Snipperclips, Lone Echo/Echo Arena and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds each won two awards. Nintendo’s Special Corporate Advisor Genyo Takeda won a Lifetime Achievement Award for his role in Nintendo’s hardware development.
