As expected from the recent leaks, Microsoft has now confirmed that Xbox Series X will be priced at $499 USD / £449 / $749 AUD, and that it is releasing alongside the cheaper “Xbox Series S” on November 10. Pre-orders for both consoles begin on September 22, and financing options are available in 12 countries.

The primary difference between Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is in resolution. This is, apparently, because framerate is prioritized by the fanbase.
