Witcher 3 Devs Celebrate 5th Anniversary with Massive Sale

The Witcher 3 developers CD Projekt Red are is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a massive sale on Witcher titles, including 70% off the Witcher 3.

CD Project Red are celebrating the 5th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with a big discount on Witcher titles. You can get the Witcher 3 GOTY Edition with 70% off on PS4, Xbox One, GOG and the Epic Store. You can also grab The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for 85% off on GOG and Steam. These sales will end on different dates, in the range of May 25th to June 4th.

But that’s not all the news as Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is now available on Steam. Previously the free-to-play card game was available on platforms PS4, Xbox One, mobile and GOG, but now also makes its way to Steam.

The Witcher 3 had its second best year in 2019, where over 5 million copies were sold, 53% being on PC, 26% on the Switch and 10% on Xbox One. The resurgence is also due to the tail end of last year, when the Witcher series released on Netflix, which helped top the number of concurrent players. The Witcher 3 launched in 2015, and continues to be one of the best titles in the last decade, also included in our Top 10 Best RPGs of the Decade.

CD Projekt Red are working on their next major IP Cyberpunk 2077 another highly anticipated title for 2020, which will be arriving this September. Recently they have shared that after this project wraps up, they’ll be getting on with another Witcher title right a way.
