We Happy Few Ahead of E3 2018 Releases New Gameplay Trailer

With E3 2018 just around the corner, Compulsion Games releases new gameplay footage of We Happy Few along with some screenshots. The retro styled survival game is set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC this summer 2018.

We Happy Few Releases New Gameplay Trailer

The drug induced Orwellian and down right trippy indie title We Happy Few has been a long time in the works, with their original release being pushed back along with some price confusion. But things seem to be back on track, as we get a new trailer featuring some of the gameplay. The trailer shows some melee combat and of course psychedelic scenes.

We Happy Few is a survival and exploration game that in set in England during the 60’s. In an alternative timeline where the outcome of World War II happens much early on causing a disastrous sequence of events. The main protagonist Arthur works for the censor department and his job is to rid archived newspapers of any terrible events of the war. Arthur lives in a society where citizens take “joy” and leaves them in a happy induced state but covers up the reality of the world around them. He begins his adventure after the affects of “joy” starts to wear off and he starts seeing the truth being revealed around him.

We Happy Few is currently in early access on Steam and will launch in Summer 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
