Undaunted Celebration Returns to Elder Scrolls Online January 9th

Not only is the Undaunted Celebration returning to Tamriel but Zenimax have shared that the Activity Finder has also gone through a bit of an update. This January 9th, everyone will also be able to test out the new update tool for the Elder Scrolls Online. The event will start Thursday, January 9 at 10:00AM EST through Monday, January 13 at 10:00AM EST.

To take part you will need to complete a dungeon using the Dungeon Finder or by travelling to a particular dungeon with your group, it can be Normal or Veteran difficulty. Earn an Undaunted Reward Box, one box is rewarded per character each day.

How to Take Part

To take part in this event you will need to queue for a dungeon, this can be either done on Normal or Veteran:

  1. Navigate to the Group & Activity Finder
  2. Select Dungeon Finder
  3. Select either Normal Dungeon or Veteran Dungeon
  4. Select your role (DPS, healing, or tanking) and queue up

Rewards

Taking down the final boss of a dungeon during the Undaunted Celebration will grant players an Undaunted Reward Box. This special box will given in addition to the usual loot you receive in a dungeon. These boxes contain some awesome goodies including Undaunted Keys, Undaunted plunder, motif pages, repair kits, transmute crystals, riding lessons and more.

I’m particular excited to gain some riding lessons as levelling up your riding in ESO can take some time (each level can take around 20 hours) so these are a great reward for those who want to up their mount speed. Undaunted Keys for those who may not have played in a while are now available to spend at the particular Undaunted pledge givers located in Grahtwood. Visit Urgarlag Chief-bane, Glirion the Redbeard, Maj al-Ragath to obtain specific monster sets or a mystery coffer.

The Undaunted Celebration is also a chance to gain the “Opal” versions of the monster sets offered in dungeons which include weapons, mask and shoulder styles, by killing the following bosses:

  • Bloodspawn
  • Illambris
  • Engine Guardian
  • Troll King

Opal Monster Weapon Outfit Style – Gained from defeating the final boss of a dungeon for the first time that day. You will be rewarded with a Hefty Undaunted Reward box containing the same items as the Undaunted Reward Box plus the new Opal Monster Weapon Outfit style. The Opal style can drop from the regular boxes but very rarely.

Opal Monster Masks Outfit Style – These masks can drop from completing a dungeon on Veteran Hard Mode by defeating the final bosses in Spindleclutch II (Bloodspawn), Crypt of Hearts I (Illambris), Darkshade Caverns II (Engine Guardian), and Blessed Crucible (Troll King).

Opal Monster Shoulder Outfit Style – If you’re after the shoulders of this outfit style you can pick them up from the Undaunted vendors during this event. But you will need to have collected the normal versions of these Shoulders first before gaining the Opal ones.

Event Tickets

The Undaunted Celebration Event will grant players Event Tickets which are needed to purchase Indrik Feathers (collect all four to gain one mount) and previous berries to earn your different Indrik evolutions. No new berries are coming with this event but more will be added in future events. You can exchange your tickets at the Impressario who is located in the following locations:

Impresario Locations:

  • Daggerfall in Glenumbra
  • Davon’s Watch in Stonefalls,
  • Vulkhel Guard in Auridon

Don’t forget that you can only hold a maximum of 12 event tickets so use them before earning your next event tickets.
