I’m really curious about this game. I never played the original and only know about it through these (very helpful) blogs.

But I’m still having fun with Nioh atm and trying to be smart with my game budgeting (DS3 dlc and Nioh dlc not too far away).

Hopefully there are some dedicated community players getting it. Because I probably need to wait a minute before grabbing this one.

It’s an RPG, but maybe not as you know it. Where CRPG meets Visual Novel / Adventure Game is more or less where it sits. Absolutely everything (including combat) is directly tied to a structured story (if not necessarily the main story,) as you might expect in the latter genres, with the role playing focus of the former genre. Also, again as you might expect from that description, the game is a good 60 or 70% reading and most of the rest is exploration or puzzle solving, with very little combat even if you’re going out of your way to upset everybody.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, you should almost definitely get it.
