Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 PC

  • A new rating has appeared from the Australian Classification Board for Red Dead Redemption 2 implying a PC version might not be far off.
  • The western set Red Dead Redemption 2 has received a MA 15+, which is exactly the same rating that its console counterpart has been given. While the classification doesn’t point out the specific platforms, the date shown is August 20th, 11 months after the game’s original “multi-platform” classification was made according to an article by Eurogamer.
  • Last year in October, there were rumours already about a PC release when Rockstar Intel found code that contained “PC” and “Oculus” in the coding of the mobile companion app. A rating this year adds further fuel to the fire.
  • Couple that with a newly released PC game launcher last week, this could be in anticipation of the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release.
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with PC possibly coming soon.
