One Piece Odyssey

  • One Piece Odyssey has gotten a new trailer, this time featuring gameplay set in Alabasta. While Odyssey is set after the events that happen in this location, the game will revisit Alabasta. Memorable storylines will be playable through a feature called “Memoria”.
  • The trailer shows a bustling town with the crew entering Alabasta to their surprise. Luffy can be seen exploring the town in the One Piece Odyssey trailer, and other members entering different areas such as the tavern.
  • Players will be able to swap between different team leaders, which puts them into the playable character mode. Usopp is chosen in the video footage, who has a slingshot to knock down high objects.
  • Finally, we see some of the turn-based combat for One Piece Odyssey. Each enemy has attack-type weakness, and Robin is seen being swapped in from the reserve crew. Fallout TV Series

  • It’s been roughly two years since the Fallout TV show by Amazon was announced. A teaser trailer was first released to announce the show was in the works, with confirmation it went into production earlier this year. Now, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise, a tweet via the official Amazon Prime account and Kilter Films has released a new image of Vault 33.
  • The image shows the vault open, with a lone figure standing at the entrance of the vault in front of onlookers. But what’s interesting though is there is a pair of feet lying not too far from the entrance, meaning something must have gone down prior to this still of the scene.
  • Twitter has already been scouring this image for details including pointing out that Vault 33 should be located on the West Coast, as the lower-numbered vaults typically reside there. Whether this has changed for the show is too soon to tell, but it will be interesting what else will be shared next about the show.

The Witcher Remake

CD Projekt Red uncovered this week one of the projects they are working on. Previously revealing some of the code names for projects their working they have now announced that Canis Majoris is actually the code name for the Witcher Remake.

CDPR announced in a blog post on their official website that the Witcher Remake is being worked on. Just like the previously confirmed Untitled Witcher Sequel, the Remake is also being built from scratch using Unreal Engine 5.

Witcher Remake’s announcement also surprisingly included that CD Projekt Red will not be the main developer. Instead, they are partnering up with fellow Polish studio Fool’s Theory. This relatively smaller company is actually comprised of some ex-Witcher developers. It seems like the remake is in good hands, as they already have experience in the lore, the setting, the world, and what magic makes the Witcher series special.
