  • In an interview with the gaming website Gamespot Brazil, Hidetaka Miyazaki shares his favourite FromSoftware title to date and a few tidbits about what made it such an iconic title.
  • Fans are always eager to find if Bloodborne 2 will be on the horizon, passion for Bloodborne is very much alive and well, not just through its fans, but also its director Hidetaka Miyazaki.
  • However, Miyazaki has still not given a definite answer on a sequel. When asked about if there were any improvements he would have wanted to make with Bloodborne, Miyazaki mentions in the interview “the Chalice Dungeons and the Blood Gems” as he wanted them to be “…more detailed…” plus he still sees “the possibility of adding more to it”.
  • When asked if this could be in the sequel, but Miyazaki replies: “Bloodborne 2… Unfortunately, it’s not up to me.”
  • But Bloodborne still remains a project close to his heart.

Lost Soul Arise

  • It has been a minute since we’ve seen much from the action-RPG Lost Soul Aside.
  • The title has received a trailer during ChinaJoy 2018, and last we heard was in steady development. The developer UltiZero Games has released a new piece of artwork featuring a rocky environment, a lone figure standing amidst a thunder storm.
  • The image shared via the official Twitter account, was also accompanied by a quick statement saying that the development team are “hard at work” and that it was too soon to “share more information”.
  • There is, dare I say, a dragon-like creature accompanying in the image, which could be what the evil mistress in the last trailer might have been referring to. Previous footage showed a promising fast paced, hack ‘n’ slash title with a mix of Devil May Cry and Nier Automata vibes.
  • Lost Soul Aside is set to release on Playstation 4 with no release window announced as of yet.

  • In an interview with CD Projekt Red’s John Mamais, he shared that while the team at one point didn’t think the Witcher 3 “would be possible on Switch”, having Cyberpunk 2077 follow in its footsteps was highly unlikely.
  • The Switcher released this week, which is quite a milestone in terms what can be ported to the device.
  • As for Cyberpunk 2077, Mamais says “…who knows?” which you could take as a small spark of hope.
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on October 15th on the Nintendo Switch. Cyberpunk 2077 will be releasing on April 16th 2020 for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

  • Divinity Fallen Heroes was the next upcoming game to be released by the Divinity Original Sin 2 developer Larian Studios. The title was a collaboration with Danish studio Logic Artists known for their tactical turn-based Expeditions series.
  • In the statement released by Larian, the game will not be launching next month, and the it seems the project has come to a halt due to lack of “development time and resources”.
  • For now it looks like Logic Artists and Larian will be going their separate ways, as Logic will continue to work on Expedition games, while Larian will focus their main efforts on Baldur’s Gate 3.
