Marvel’s Midnight Suns
- Captain America is the next hero to be showcased for the upcoming tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns. In the latest trailer Captain Ameria is seen using a defensive playstyle using Block.
- The strategy involves using the resource Block to lower the amount of incoming damage, the more you have the less damage taken. Other moves include taunting enemies to absorb most of the damage during that turn or using the built-up Block to commit devasting shield attacks.
- Also seen in the video is the conversation between Captain and the main character, The Hunter. Players can gain permanent buffs by increasing their friendship levels with Superheroes, empowering them in battle.
- In case you missed it MMS was first announced in August last year. The title features tactical combat, using cards that have abilities and perks.
- We got a hands-on look at Midnight Suns in our Marvel’s Midnight Suns Gameplay – New Turn-Based RPG/TCG so watch that if you are curious to know more.

Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion
- Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion got new details on performance, with the developer sharing they aim to get the game running at 120 fps on PC, and 60 fps for consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.
- In a recent interview with IGN, producer Mariko Sato confirmed performance details. He also explained there will be “differences” in the resolution and FPS on Nintendo’s hybrid on the go system,
- Executive producer Yoshinori Kitase jumped in with saying the “main purpose with this title is that we wanted a really wide range of players to be able to play on whatever platform that they desired”.
- In case you missed it, Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is a remaster of the original game that will be coming to a number of platforms this winter. It is a prequel to the events of Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core, an Action-RPG which was released for the PSP in 2008.
- The remaster on the other hand will have improved 3D models, full voiceovers and new music arrangements which is always something to look forward to in Final Fantasy games. What we can expect is a refreshed experience.

Hellpoint
- Hellpoint the sci-fi souls-like inspired title released on Playstation 5 this week with its next-gen version. The Xbox Series version however has gotten delayed, which is now expected to release within “one to two weeks”, according to developer Cradle Games.
- The delay has “no impact on the launch of the “Blue Sun” downloadable content” according to the post, so those on Xbox Series can still access the DLC as planned through backward compatibility.
- Saves on Xbox One are cross-gen compatible with Xbox Series, so threat not Hellpoint Xbox players.
- The Blue Sun DLC also released alongside the next-gen version, adding more hellish enemies to face in new locations. Of course players can get their hands on new armor sets, two-handed weapons and take on a contract system.

Kingdom: The Blood
- Often we see games getting their own Netflix adaptation, with the likes of The Witcher, Castlevania and League of Legends-based animated series Arcane. However, here’s one happening in reverse. The zombie action series Kingdom is being transformed into a single-player and multiplayer title called Kingdom: The Blood for PC, iOS and Android.
- Described as a game that will recreate characters from the series, with “high-quality 3D graphics”. The developer will keep the Korean culture with “utmost care” hopefully translating in some fluid gameplay.
- Combat looks to be just as gory as you’d expect from zombie slashing with swords and axes. Players will be able to experience the beautiful sceneries seen in the series…well overrun with zombies of course.
- If you were hoping that the game will tie in with the series’ narrative, the game will have a story mode that follows the drama. Other modes teased include Conquest Mode, consisting of five-minute battles as well as epic multi-boss battles and PVP combat. If Korean combat zombie-killing sounds like your adrenaline-ridden cup of tea, then look forward to the title coming to both PC and mobile.

Yet Another Fantasy Title
- These days fantasy titles are plenty, and what developer Atomic Wolf has decided is to play into the genre with a fantasy-themed parody game. Yet Another Fantasy Title or YAFT sets to make fun of itself as a top-down open-world Action-RPG.
- As the name would suggest the game will contain all the makings of a fantasy game, with sidequests, magic, 15 medieval weapons and mounts ranging from unicorns to tamed wolves.
- The Steam description teases “absurd humor and bard music”. The story sets you up as the mischievous rogue who always seems to be getting in trouble. Deemed “The Chosen One” but only by accident.
- The quirky humour isn’t the only draw as the trailer previews spell casting on the battlefield, as well as melee combat with a trusty sword making for some fun-looking fights.
- Learning magic also sounds like it could be a little sketchy, as your mentors are suspicious wizards who “drink way too many potions”.
- Yet Another Fantasy Title will be released on PC, no launch date has been announced as of yet.
