Final Fantasy 7 Remake
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide, this includes both physical and digital versions. The Playstation 4 exclusive is also the highest-selling digital release on the Playstation platform in Square Enix’s entire history.
- FF7 Remake is a re-imagining of the original version, following the adventure of Cloud, as he joins a group of mercenaries called Avalanche to bring down the Shinra corporation. - Final Fantasy 7 Remake is also on sale with 34% off, so you can grab the first part of the adventure for just $40 from the Playstation Store.

Monster Hunter World
- Capcom have announced they will celebrating the first Monster Hunter World Iceborne anniversary this September, by offering players a chance to revisit some major events. This is great for newer players and those who didn’t manage to gain the rewards from these events the first time.
- The first event kicks off on August 21st, with the Monster Hunter World Holiday Joy Fest. Completing the limited-time quests available during this event, hunters can gain rewards such as the Oolong Armor Set, Luck Crimson Tiger Pendant and the Shishi-Mai Palico Gear.
- This event will only be around for one week, finishing on September 3rd.
- Then onto the next event from September 4th to September 17th for the Seliana’s Gathering Hub. Here players can take part in the Grand Appreciation Fest, to gain unlockable items such as the Guild Palace weapons.
- Finally, the event taking place from September 18th to 30th will be in Seliana for the Full Bloom Fest. Hunters can gain such rewards as the special Poogie costume, some pretty creepy Palico gear, pendants and more.
- Monster Hunter World is currently available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
- The RPG Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 has now been announced to be delayed from its original release window of 2020, will now release in 2021.
- The game is the sequel to the Vampire: The Masquerade set in the World of Darkness.
- The release of the game was initially aimed for a 2020 release date, however due to the challenge the pandemic has caused, the launch date has now been pushed to next year. The official statement released by the developers ultimately explains that the game needs further polish to live up the standards set, what they feel is needed and worthy of a Bloodlines game. They also shared “more information in the coming months on launch timing…”.
- This isn’t the only RPG expected to release set in the World of Darkness, there is the Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong being developed by Big Bad Wolf which will also release next year. Then there is the Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood being developed by Cyanide Studios, which will be releasing in February 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077
- In the open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077, players will encounter a number of different life paths. In the latest video from CD Projekt Red this week, it shows off some of the narrative for the action-adventure.
- It previewed two different lives, one focusing on the past memories as a Nomad, reminiscing of better days. While another looks into the more dangerous side to the Night City, into the Arasaka corporation, where things don’t look particularly above board.
- There will be three different life paths Street Kid ,Nomad or Corpo.
- Paths are chosen at the beginning of the game, throughout your playthrough they will offer opportunities that stem from that choice. These offer optional dialogue and even quests, which give the player plenty of choices to help shape their story.
- The stream also took a look at some of the weapons your character V will have access to in the game. These ranged from a number of long range weapons such as the semi-automatic Tsunami Nekomata to the iconic melee weapon the Mantis Blades that protrude from the wrists.
- Cyperpunk 2077 will be releasing on November 19th for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Xbox Series X
- In the latest post on the Xbox website, Xbox Series X has now been confirmed to be launching this November, narrowing down the holidays 2020 release window.
- The post also shares that Halo Infinite will not be launching with the console, but releasing in 2021 to “give more time to finish the critical work necessary…”
- But Microsoft promises that there will be plenty of titles available at launch which includes “thousands of games to play, spanning four generations” with more than 100 being optimised for Xbox Series X. The optimised games can reach framerates of up to 120 frames per second with the use of Direct X raytracing. There’s also faster loading times and Quick Resume.
- The post also shares news for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which will launch on September 15th for both PC and console, allowing players to access more than 100 games on the cloud, also allowing gamers to play via Android phone or tablet.

Magic Legends
- Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced that the Necromancer will be one of the five classes for upcoming Magic: Legends at launch.
- The developer behind upcoming Magic: Legends have unveiled the fifth class, Necromancer. The ARPG which is set in the Magic: The Gathering universe, will have the Necromancer class as one of the five different Planeswalkers (classes) players can choose.
- The Necromancer gains its power from the use of black mana, summoning creatures to do their bidding and ultimately damaging opponents over time. This class is all about balance between life and death, sacrificing their own life force to gain powerful summons.

Torchlight 3
- A new update has dropped for Torchlight 3 which released a few months ago. This has changed the way the Relic system works, previously you could equip an item which would give you additional skills, or they could stored/swapped between available characters in your Reliquary.
- This makes choosing a Relic carry more weight. These can be now chosen in the character creation screen, which will come with five active and five passive skills. You can build a character supporting this third skill tree at the beginning of the game.
- There are four relics in total which follow Fire, Cold, Poison and Electricity, and there is a brand new relic called Blood Drinker. Blood Drinker adds a sort of vampire subclass that let’s you use your enemies blood, to replenish your health.
- The update also brings mini-dungeons, and now the Reliquary is more of a decorative item.
- Torchlight 3 is currently available on Steam Early Access.

Bless Unleashed
- Publishers Bandai Namco and Neowiz, plus developer Round 8 Studio have announced the MMORPG Bless Unleashed is coming to Playstation 4. The beta will start at 10AM PDT on August 20th to August 24th.
- Those who want to take part in the closed beta will need to register on the official Bless Unleashed website for a chance to gain a key, you will be notified via email if you get in to the beta.
- Bless Unleashed is a free-to-play MMORPG which up until this point had been exclusively available on Xbox One since March of this year, and will be releasing on PC via Steam in 2021.
- The game brings players straight into the action with its combo driven combat, giving the option of a number of classes to play.
- Bless Unleashed will be coming to Playstation 4, with the closed beta kicking off this August 20th.

Mortal Shell
- Upcoming souls-like Mortal Shell will get physical editions released this fall for PC and consoles.
- Mortal Shell is not far away from its launch date for the digital version, as it releases on August 18th for PC and consoles. Now the developer Cryptic Studios have announced via the official Mortal Shell Twitter account that the challenging souls-like will get physical editions this October.
- Mortal Shell fans will be to get their hands on PS4, Xbox One and PC physical editions for $29.99 on October 2nd 2020 in both Europe and North America.
- If you want to know what’s striking about Mortal Shell, this souls-like brings its own flavour to the genre, as players will take on the dark world while adopting different Shells which grant a number of skills and special abilities. Combat is shaped by the shell you inhabit and warriors you choose to awaken.
- Mortal Shell will be available next week on the Epic Games Store, on the Playstation Store and Xbox Games Store on August 18th.
