Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered Is Real
The previous collection had a physical edition by Meridiem Games, but the Spanish publisher has yet to comment on this release. You can watch the trailer below and find official screenshots at the end of the article.
The Last Revelation, the fourth game in the series developed by Core Design for PC and PlayStation in 1999, follows Lara on a perilous journey through Egypt, where she faces dangers including her archrival Werner Von Croy. Chronicles, released a year later for PC, PlayStation, and Dreamcast, picks up right where the previous game left off, with a more capable Lara skilled in stealth and balance.
The last part of this trilogy is The Angel of Darkness, which marked a generational leap when it was released for PC and PlayStation 2 in 2003. It also introduced a significant change in tone: Lara becomes a fugitive, uncovering a conspiracy involving ancient artifacts and chemical experiments.
All The Improvements
Aspyr has treated this collection of Core Designโs games similarly to their previous work with Lara Croft.
The graphics have been remastered, and players can switch between the new and classic visuals on the fly. Modern controls inspired by more recent entries in the series have been added, but players can also opt for the original “tank-style” controls.
Thereโs a photo mode with all the poses from Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and some new ones. Additionally, usability improvements (such as bosses now having health bars) and features like achievements or trophies have been included.
