  • Dark Envoy features two siblings Malakai and Kaela who can take up one of four base classes, but there are 12 specialisations players can choose from within these base classes.
  • Summoner falls into the Adept class, who uses magic to bond with spirits of nature. They also have a druidic nature, as shapeshifting into powerful forms is also on the table.
  • Assassin on the otherhand relies on sneaking and using deadly moves from dark corners. The Shadow Cloak for example can give them temporary invisibility.

  • Console players will need to wait a bit longer as PS5 and Xbox Series versions will launch in early 2024. A limited-time demo is now available for PC players on Steam until October 16th.
  • The new trailer follows the main protagonist Wiktor as they return to Warsaw after a lengthy absence. Cursed with a power that runs in the family, they use spiritual abilities to unlock truths. But it isn’t all supernatural powers, sometimes he has to use weapons to fight off unruly foes. The top-down view lets you see the bustling city from a great angle, observing everything that’s going on.
  • In case you missed it The Thaumaturge is set in 20th-century Warsaw Poland. A mix of ancestries under the pressure of the Russian tsardom. • The sequel to the adventure tabletop theme RPG, For the King 2 has gotten a release date. It will be heading to PC via Steam on November 2nd 2023. Developer IronOak have been gearing up to the launch and even had a closed beta back in May. Now it looks like the turn-based RPG is ready to go forth next month on Steam for $24.99 USD. • This version puts an emphasis on strategic decision-making, making it much more customisable. It includes classes, armor and weapon options so players will have further choices in choosing the best set-up for their adventure.

Cyberpunk 2077

  • CD Projekt Red has made a major comeback with now surpassing 25 million units. The latest DLC Phantom Liberty has also done some big sales now reaching 3 million units which is pretty huge since it launched just last month.
  • If we compare this to one of the studio’s most successful RPGs, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, this title had just surpassed 50 million in May 2023, having been released originally in 2015.
  • No doubt having a new chapter to explore in Phantom Liberty which brings not only a new storyline, but a new character featuring Idris Elba, has renewed interested in the Action-RPG.
  • Along with the new expansion, the update 2.0 also brought some major changes such as an overhaul of the Perk system, vehicle combat and more. If you’re eager to find out what we thought of the latest additions be sure to watch our Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Review
  • Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty has now extended the experience, gaining a further storyline, a new area called Dogtown and even a new celebrity character. Don’t fret as fan favourite Johnny Silverhand aka Keanu “you’re breathtaking” Reeves is still a major element in the expansion.

Lords of the Fallen

  • In case you missed it the latest dark fantasy souls inspired title Lords of the Fallen launched this week. In the run up to the launch, CI Games and Hexworks released a launch trailer holding nothing back.
  • It teased some creepy-looking bosses ready to put players through their paces. The video also is cryptically narrated, enough to outline a little lore but not giving away too much storywise.
  • n case you missed it, Lords of the Fallen arrives on October 13th. It’s a reboot of the original game of the same name but set a thousand years after the events of the first. This means you don’t have to have played the first game, as this is a very different setting. The visceral combat pits players against horrific beasts, towering foes and has a unique setting of two realms. Players will get to discover the world of the living Axiom and fall into the world of dead Umbral.
  • Both worlds feature their own pathways, characters and loot. This means you will have different experiences depending on which world you are exploring. In order to travel into Umbral players will use a lamp.
  • We have plenty of Lords of the Fallen content coming your way so be sure to check out more videos on our channel. Our wiki also has tonnes of useful info to help you explore the game.

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn

  • It was a welcomed surprise when the JRPG Tales of Arise developer Bandai Namco revealed an expansion would be heading to the game during Playstation’s State of Play last month.
  • Beyond the Dawn has gotten a new trailer featuring the “wealth of sub-quests” players will get to enjoy with the upcoming DLC. The quests are “numerous” covering roughly 20 hours of content, which will reconstruct the world, set a year after the main game.
  • But there are plenty of battles ahead featuring favourite characters Shionne, Alphen, and more. Expect new dungeons and bosses to experience. The trailer also teases more cooking recipes to uncover.
  • Tales of Arise was originally released in 2021, introducing a beautiful watercoloured world. However stunning, it’s also plagued by injustice and turmoil. The game features a party system, switching between characters and using Boost abilities to help strengthen the party’s actions.
  • Pre-orders have been announced with a number of goodies such as useful recipes, special costumes and more.
  • Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn launches on November 9th for PS4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PS5.

PS Plus

  • Cloud Streaming will be coming to PS Plus Premium this October which was revealed by Sony last year. Also announced were new games joining the catalogue of games for PS Plus Extra and Premium members.
  • So what exactly is PS Plus PS5 cloud streaming? The tech was revealed to be coming to PS Plus for those who opted for the higher tier subscription Premium. As the tier name might suggest, it’s packed with more premium features. One of those features is access to streamable games without having hefty download times and large files.
  • Streaming means having a further library of games such as Horizon Forbidden WestGhost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11, and more. There are also some non-plus titles available for free such as Resident Evil 4, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys and more. Sony hints at “hundreds” of games to be streamed natively.
  • Another perk of cloud streaming is being able to play PS5 Game Trials. The full list of AAA game have yet to be released but examples given are the Harry Potter-themed open-word title which was released earlier this year Hogwarts Legacy. CD Projekt Red’s Action-RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. There’s also the space survival horror The Callisto Protocol.
  • The tech isn’t limited to just base games but also downloadable content and add-ons. The streaming quality will also support resolutions in 4K, 1440p, 1080p, and 720p, with 60 FPS and SDR or HDR output.
  • Sony aims to roll out cloud gaming starting with Japan on October 17th, Europe by October 23rd and North America by October 30th.
  • More games will be delighting us this October for all PS Plus members. These include the dark, humourous detective isometric RPG Disco Elysium.
  • There’s also the DC superhero themed Action-RPG Gotham Knights. If you’re looking for something a little more spooky to play just in time for Halloween. Alien Isolation, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, and Outlast 2 should fill that horror void.
  • Others coming to both Premium as well as Extra include Dead Island, Elite Dangerous, FAR: Changing Tides, Gungrave G.O.R.E, Eldest Souls and Roki.
