- Diablo IV’s first expansion will be released sometime “late next year” with more information coming in the summer of 2024.

World of Warcraft
- Blizzard’s MMO, World of Warcraft is set to be one of the longest-running games in history. Announced during the weekend of BlizzCon 2023 was the “Worldsoul Saga”. As the name suggests it’s made up of a number of expansions which will span over the next few years.
- The expansions will include the first one releasing in 2024 called The War Within, followed up by Midnight and finishing with The Last Titan.
- Only the general ideas of Midnight and The Last Titan were revealed, but more information was released on The War Within. Coming in 2024 will be World of Warcraft’s 10th expansion, The War Within. It was initially featured as a cinematic trailer that has a traumatized Anduin and Thrall discussing the visions and voices that have been calling out to them.
- The War Within will bring players into the core of Azeroth, deep further into the unknown. A large focus of this will be on “that sword”, the one that was plunged into Azeroth in the Legion expansion.
- Each expansion usually comprises of a new region to explore, new gameplay systems, balance changes and much more. Blizzard revealing three expansions in one go which was quite surprising for everyone.

- Following up Genshin Impact‘s massive success will be quite an act to follow with Hoyaverse’s next Action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero. A closed beta will be arriving soon for PC and mobile. So far there’s been no official release date for the brand-new IP, but an “Equalising Test” has been announced.
- Those interested in getting their hand on the next game can sign up for the CB but as you’d expect no progress will transfer to the full game’s release. If you want to get in on the action you will need to sign up through a Hoyoverse account.
- In case you missed it Zenless Zone Zero is an action title from the same developers of Genshin Impact. This time players will take up the role of a Proxy whose job is to investigate ‘Hollows’, other wordly dimensions to extract resources and tech.
- Adding a rogue-like element to the game with labyrinths which are different each time. These portals seem to allow terrible monsters to pass through known as Ethereals. Instead of wielding Visions, characters have martial arts abilities but also seem to wield some other tech when it comes to skills.
- Zenless Zone Zero will be coming to PC, iOS, Android and unspecified consoles.

- To stop him, players will have to team up with the Silver Crows, a faction of explorers and adventurers, and enlist the help of a fiery mage named Daichi.
- The update will also introduce eight new Artifacts, which are powerful weapons and armor that have unique abilities and quests. Some of the Artifacts include the Boltcaster Bow, which can stun and shock enemies with lightning bolts, the Winged Shoes, which can increase the wearer’s speed and reduce their cooldowns, and the Frozen Gauntlet, which can freeze and shatter enemies with ice spikes.

Mass Effect
This year’s N7 Day celebrating the Mass Effect franchise revealed a new teaser for the next upcoming game. The new teaser featured a mysterious character wearing a futuristic-looking trench coat with their face shrouded by the space helmet.
To accompany the teaser, a new blog post by the franchise’s boss Mike Gamble was also shared along with an image featuring the mysterious figure that showed up in the short clip.
The post marked the 11 years of N7 Days and 16 years of the Mass Effect franchise. The post talks about wanting to know what happened to the characters within the franchise and “who really died”. These could be small clues as to what the next entry will cover. However, we’ll have to wait longer for more news.
If you’re getting a sense of deja vu, this is pretty much what happens each year during the anniversary. Occasionally we’ll get a small snippet of info or a new image giving hints for the next title.
Maybe we’re getting closer to getting a reveal? Maybe something more at The Game Awards as this was how the original teaser was announced? Time will tell.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced that the Nioh 2 free update is finally here for Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. The free update adds a new foe to defeat Mezuki from Nioh 2.
That’s not the only Nioh 2 influence as if you defeat the mighty Mezuki you can proudly display your victory by equipping the Scampuss Hat which also appeared in Nioh 2. The Scampuss are the cute rolling wide-eyed cat-like Yokai.
Of course, if you fail you get to see the Nioh 2-styled death announcement which was teased previously, “Freed From This Mortal Coil”. Mezuki is not messing around as the death animations look brutal.
This boss has a horse’s head and wields a blade which you shouldn’t get too close to. He also summons ghosts which is similar to his attack in Nioh 2.
If you’re currently making your way through the Three Kingdoms, be sure to drop by our Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty wiki to stay on top of challenging bosses, armor, weapons and more.

Remnant 2
Gunfire Games announces Remnant 2 The Awakened King expansion can be played with a friend who doesn’t own the expansion.
This means if you own a copy of the DLC but your friend doesn’t, they can still play the DLC content with you. The caveat is that any DLC items you acquire won’t be useable unless you own the DLC. This was confirmed by the developer over on X (Twitter).
The Awakened King was announced to be coming to Remnant 2 on November 14th as the first expansion to the game. The DLC brings a new Archetype the Ritualist, quests, dungeons and areas based on the world of Losomn.
Gunfire Games has also released a new trailer which focuses on the new Archetype the Ritualist. This new class has the prime perk, called Vile. Not only causing enemies to be more susceptible to status damage but spreads this status to other enemies once they die within a 15m range.
The archetype has a kiss and curse skill, applying an affliction on the player themself. They cannot be healed during this debuff and lose 300% health over 20 seconds. On the plus side, it boosts base damage by 10% through Lifesteal.
Remnant 2 The Awakened King will be unleashed on November 14th. In the meantime drop by our wiki for all the latest info.
