Happy New Year from Fextralife! It was a calm week for news and reveals this week as many offices around the world took it easy in anticipation of New Year festivities, but there were some notable highlights. Let’s take a look at the comings and goings across the Fextralife Wiki Network:
Dark Souls 3
- No news on the Dark Souls 3 front, but now that we’re in the new year it’s time for hype! We’re less than 4 months away from getting this game in our hands! Are you planning your builds yet?
Destiny
- Destiny’s mysterious Xur is peddling his exotic wares this weekend in the Tower near the Vanguard.
- The Iron Banner started back up again. Get your team assembled!
- Playstation owners are getting a chance at some exclusive Iron Banner loot this week.
 
The Witcher 3
- CD Projekt Red has said that the entire studio is working on Cyberpunk 2077, their next game which is a sci-fi world said to be larger than any of the Witcher games!
- Blood and Wine is still on the agenda, with the studio saying they are working on the finishing touches of the major expansion.

Elder Scrolls Online
- Want a panther? Who doesn’t? The Black Senche-Panther is available for one more day in the Crown Store.

- The Overwatch Wiki is here! Take a look at the Heroes that will be playable in this 6v6 online only FPS by Blizzard.
- The beta is now done, and the game is nearing completion. The feedback so far is positive with players thoroughly enjoying the frenetic pacing and on the fly switching of heroes.

- 2 new heroes have been revealed for Battleborn:
The Division
- The Division Wiki is live! Give it a long look, because this game is going to be massive!
- Backlot_Basher presented 5 things The Division needed to get right upon release.
- With the alpha test behind, Ubisoft will now start focusing on the next benchmark phases.
Gaming General
- Info on Final Fantasy 7 continues to pour in. Reports revealed that in addition to being episodic and voice acted, the game will also exceed the scope, gameplay and story of the original.
- Final Fantasy XV’s director addressed why there are no female party members. Should party composition be an issue for gamers?
- Sorry book fans in the community but the Winds of Winter, the next novel in the Song of Fire & Ice series will not be published before the airing of the new season of Game of Thrones. We’re going in dark folks!
