The Week In Wikis: Dark Souls, Dragon’s Dogma, The Division And More

Happy weekend from Fextralife! If you’ve been too busy to keep up on the latest in the games we cover or are looking for a refresher we’ve got you covered. Let’s take a look at the comings and goings across the Fextralife Wiki Network:

Dark Souls 3

  • Gamestop pre-orders will be taking home a nifty little keychain along with the game.
  • Content creators: Don’t forget to enter the Dark Souls 3 trailer contest. Details on how to enter can be found here. Get them in before the February 9th deadline rolls around. There are statues to be won here folks. Alienate your family members by populating your home with some totally not tacky loot.
  • Dark Souls 3 is 86 days away!

 Fallout 4

  • Beta update 1.3 is now up for PC players of Fallout 4, and brings some tweaks and fixes. Instructions on how to opt in are here. We’ll let you know when it’s out of beta and live for all platforms.

Sole Survivor

Destiny

  • Rumors are swirling that Destiny players may be setting a more substantial foot on Mercury sometime in the near future. The emblem players received for logging on during the past weekend sure seems to hint at that.Desitiny-Sword-Weapon-Class

Dragon’s Dogma

  • Dragon’s Dogma is now out for PC! Are you braving the beasts of Gransys?
  • Don’t forget to check out our New Player Help on the Wiki to help get you going in the right direction!
  • The Dragon’s Dogma Wiki is the first wiki to be converted to our newly developed Wiki software! Give it a look!
  • Castielle has been streaming the PC release in all of its remastered glory, check out Part 1:

The Witcher 3

  • Patch 1.12 for the Witcher 3 is here and brings a bunch of fixes to the DLC and main game.
  • Are you getting excited for the final DLC Blood and Wine? CD Projekt Red this week said the expansion is better than the main game, which is saying quite a lot given the game taking countless game of the year awards.

Elder Scrolls Online

  • ESO took a look at the upcoming year and gave players a preview on what to look forward to in Tamriel for 2016!
  • Social enhancements, leveling changes and DLC are all on the agenda for the year.

XCOM 2

  • Commander, the XCOM 2 Wiki is full of all the delicious preview release info!

Uncharted 4

  • Naughty Dog has teased that with the way Uncharted 4 ends, it will be very difficult to continue the series with Nathan Drake as the lead. But, Drake can’t die, can he?

 The Division

  • The Division has a new gripping story trailer that lets us see the game in action. Hyped yet?
  • Lots of great previews released on Friday for the game, check out all the Abilities available to players in the game!
  • The closed beta will begin January 28th on Xbox One and on the 29th for PS4 and PC. The only way to guarantee a ticket in is to preorder the game.
  • Spotted in a digital store listing was a mention of microtransactions. Cosmetic skins perhaps?

  • Virtual reality was all the rage at CES last week. Will you be an early adopter of the tech when it releases this year?
  • Psychonauts is getting a PS4 remake!
  • Diablo 3 got a new patch with yet even more new content for fans.
  • ESPN has announced an e-Sports division dedicated to comprehensive coverage of the world of competitive gaming, bringing the industry that much closer to the mainstream.

    Yes! The plan is to get it running smoothly before moving any other wikis over. But eventually they all will be on the new software :)

    Yea easy here give me your arm and we’ll just sacrifice part of your mortal coil to the wiki so that is can level up
    It depends how little sleep and how much work is required to make that happen, I’ll guess they want the dark souls III wiki to be the new version, but older wiki might come later

    Is there any chance we’ll be seeing it for current wiki hubs? (Dark Souls II, etc.)
