The Waylanders Post-Launch Roadmap Includes New Quests, Game Improvements and More
In the latest post on Steam, developer Gato Studios has released a roadmap for the party-based CRPG The Waylanders. The title which left early access last month will be getting a few updates over the next few months.
The roadmap outlines quest updates starting in March which includes fixes, improved animations for cutscenes, bug fixes for party selection as well as codex entries. Through to April, secondary quests will gain additional quests that can be gained from Tiana and Lugaid. Final Bosses will gain improvements, more Steam achievements will be added which encompasses final quests and bug fixes for improved gameplay.
Further game improvements will arrive in May concentrating on bigger maps, progression and game balance as well translations.
In case you missed it, The Waylanders offers players a fantasy world that is inspired by Celtic mythology, exploring two eras Celtic and Medieval, with about a thousand years apart. Players can choose to be a Human, Werewolf, Semi-Fomorian or a Mourian. The Character Creator of course allows users to fully customize their hero’s appearance. You can also pick up a background such as Slave or Celtic Soldier to determine what skills and abilities you can start with.

The party-based game features real-time combat, with a tactical pause option for players to have control over offensive Formations. This allows for a deeper combat experience, as Formations allow for players to round up other party members to perform specific class-based moves against enemies.
The Waylanders is now available on PC via Steam. Find out more about the classes heroes and combat in The Waylanders Leaves Early Access; A CRPG Inspired By Dragon Age.
