The talented actor Ren Osugi has sadly passed away from sudden heart failure. He starred in last year’s Final Fantasy XIV: Dad of Light, which can be found on Netflix. He was just sixty-six years old.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dad of Light told the touching story of a father and son’s relationship which improved thanks to Final Fantasy XIV.
Ren Osugi was a respected and highly versatile actor in Japan. He acted in a number of Beat Takeshi films, such as Hana-bi and last year’s Outrage Coda. He was also inTakashi Miike’s Dead or Alive movies and Audition, as well as other movies, TV dramas and stage productions.
Rest in peace, Ren Osugi.
