Obsidian Entertainement have announced The Outer Worlds will be part of Twitch Plays before its release. You can join your fellow adventurers and put your decision making to the test.

The Outer Worlds Will Be Twitch Plays First Unreleased Game

Ahead of The Outer World‘s release on October 25th, Obsidian will be hosting a Twitch Plays event livestream. The community will band together to play The Outer Worlds, taking control of the in-game action through Twitch chat. This isn’t the first time the Twitch community have played together in a livestream, notable titles include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But it is the first time an unreleased game will be on Twitch Plays.

The exact time has not be announced for when this predictably chaotic yet probably rather entertaining event takes place, but you can catch it on Twitch.tv/Obsidian and jump into the fun yourself or have a peek at the title before it releases.

Will anyone watch this? Personally, if I believe I will truly enjoy the game in question and it relies upon its narrative, immersion, and choice then I don’t want to spoil the experience by watching someone else play. I guess an argument can be made that you could play differently than the way they show, but still, you’re getting spoiled. Anyway, what do you guys think? Watch or don’t watch the preview Twitch stream?

Omgad! I tried watching this but they couldn’t even get the character to move 5 feet. He just kept shooting into the sky. Was interesting for all of 3 minutes.
