The Game Awards 2024 has announced the nominees for GOTY 2024, with the winners to be revealed on December 12.

Now is the time to reflect on the best games of 2024. The decision won’t be easy, which is why everything will be determined by the votes at The Game Awards 2024. The ceremony will take place during the night of December 12 to 13, 2024.

Geoff Keighley will host the event at the stunning Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Through YouTube and Twitch, Geoff has unveiled all the nominees for The Game Awards 2024. PlayStation leads the publishers with 16 nominations, followed by Square Enix (12), Xbox (11), and Sega (11). Regarding games, Astro Bot and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth lead with seven nominations each.

Other strong contenders for GOTY 2024 include Metaphor: ReFantazio (6 nominations), Balatro and Silent Hill 2 (5 nominations each), as well as these games with 4 nominations each: Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Helldivers 2, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
