Not to be forgotten in the minds of RPG players during the launch of Dark Souls 3, The Division this week released it’s first free DLC, titled Incursions, which gave players a new end game activity to explore with their squads. Similar in concept to raids these are repeatable missions that feature a tough challenge for squads. Falcon Lost is the first Incursion we will see with more being added in the coming months.

Update 1.1
In conjunction with the release of the DLC, Update 1.1 was also sent through which instituted many changes to the base game. The update adds new features to the game such as the Falcon Lost Incursion, Gear Sets, trading with other players, supply drops in the Dark Zone, assignments, gear score for end game players and some new High End Weapons. There are also some tweaks to the Dark Zone and Crafting as well as a host of bug fixes. Check out the Patch Notes page on the wiki for the full list of what’s included.
Weekly Assignments
A new feature introduced this week were weekly assignments, which are missions that reset every Monday, in which players can complete objectives to earn valuable Phoenix Credits. Â This weeks assignments are worth a total of 30 Phoenix Credits and are as follows:
- Kill 50 Cleaners in the Dark Zone
- Deconstruct 30 Items of Green or Higher Quality
- Kill 40 Veteran Enemies
- Complete 10 Main Missions on Hard Difficulty
In a State of the Game blog post, Ubisoft Massive also previewed the following new features that players can expect in future updates:
- Toggle Aim Mode on PC
- Weapon skins no longer taking inventory space
- Exit the game from the Title screen
It’s always nice to get some feedback from developers on where the game is going, so updates and state of the games like this and what Destiny does weekly are a welcome touch. I’m still enjoying it. It’s so much fun with a group of friends. Still, it’d be nice for Massive to just decide what they’re going to do. It seems like they had a release plan but nothing after that.
As a long time Tom Clancy fan, I really like the world Massive built and the game play. It’s still a daily player for me, but I have a list of issues as long as my arm that they need to fix.
I got sick of that game fast, some people in that community get so childish when one comments that the game is just wack when you get to level 30 and 50 Dz.I commented that and someone told me to go play Destiny, never even bought that game, some other guy said “do you play mmo? do you even grind” lol. We love grinding, we are rpg fanboys but grinding for gear that you will not use to surpass anything for example a Dark Soul boss or NG+++ or to do real PVP.
I dunno about you but that was my experience, how has it been for you guys?
I played The Division, go to level 30, got to level 50 DZ and even with this update I got tired of it by then.
They need more content or that game is just dead.
