The Devil Within: Satgat, the 2.5D action adventure from Korean studio Newcore Games that combines metroidvania and soulslike elements, is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

This title will exit early access on Steam on November 21, aiming to deliver its intense combat experience and captivating storyline to fans of the genre on current-generation consoles.

The Devil Within: Satgat Release on Switch & PS5

In this story, players take control of Kim Rip, an amnesiac swordsman who awakens in a desolate world and must face hordes of demons. The main threat comes from the Black Stone Tower, a mysterious structure that emits an oil that transforms humans into soulless creatures.

To save his world, Kim Rip must harness strange demonic powers that could ultimately consume him entirely. This moral conflict adds narrative depth to the classic side-scrolling and melee combat gameplay.

With visuals that blend detailed environments and 2.5D art, The Devil Within: Satgat also emphasizes skill customization, allowing players to enhance the protagonist’s abilities and explore an interconnected world full of secrets.

The Devil Within: Satgat will have a staggered release, launching first on PlayStation 5 and PC on November 21. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive later, expected sometime in 2025. According to the publisher, this version might include physical editions in addition to its digital format.
