Sword Coast Legends Coming to Consoles

Console owners interested in trying out the Dungeons and Dragons themed RPG Sword Coast Legends are in luck, because the game is set to release on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live this spring. No exact date has been announced but spring is right around the corner so the wait won’t be long.

The Standard Edition will land on the digital stores for 19.99 USD and will include all the content released so far for the game in the form of the free community packs which included the drow as a new playable sub-race, additional character skill trees, hundreds of new placeable objects for DMs, new areas, new visual effects, hardcore gameplay options for the most rugged of adventurers, and much more.

The game will also include some of the special bonuses that were included for PC players such as the Tome of Knowledge, an Order of the Burning Dawn Cloak, Armor and Weapons, Beholder, Lost Mines dungeon tile set, and Wisps (DM use cursors). Console players who pick this up can also look forward to the free Rage of Demons DLC when it releases some time this year, which will be adding some new stories and beloved characters of Forgotten Realms lore.

We’ve followed the development of the game from release and had a lot of fun playing it. Coming in at a low entry price makes it a more than reasonable purchase, as the game continues to receive updates and fixes from the developers. If you’re interested in learning more, check out our review and see what we thought about it. We’ll be sure to update you when we have an exact release date. It’s certainly going to be a packed spring for game releases but this one might be one of those to get you through the lulls and dog days of summer, especially if you’re on a budget.
