Is your backlog only 10 games deep? Good because the infamous wallet depleting Steam Winter Sale has started today and will run until January 4th at 10 AM PST! This is the time of year to take advantage of the best deals of the year, with sales often reaching basement level prices. Who can say no to a $2 game?
What’s Cheap?
This event is a traditionally good time to snatch up on some games you’ve had your eye on but have put off. A few notable titles from our Wiki Network that are already on sale:
- Dark Souls
- Dark Souls 2
- The Witcher 3 as well as the entire series
- Elder Scrolls Online and the other Elder Scrolls games
- Sword Coast Legends
- Lords of the Fallen (for an insane 9.99)
It should be noted that DLC is also discounted here so it’s also a great opportunity to complete your game packages. It’s getting cold out there so there’s no better time than now to hunker down with some good content!
I’m still working through the backlog of games I bought during last year’s winter sale, but I’m not going to let that stop me for taking advantage of the deals here. With a lifetime of gaming ahead of us, we’ll certainly get through them all eventually. Won’t we? While I own some of these games I am content due to the fact that I would love Sunbroing for the new influx of people we get every sale

$19.99to free-to-play!Oh god, they have The Banner Saga for $4.99! It’s coming to PS4 on January 12 though. Oh what to do, what to do?
It’s pretty bad from what I’m seeing so far.
I was actually not aware they weren’t doing flash sales. That’s a little letdown, I’ve snagged a few games for less than a dollar. However even without, there are still some pretty low prices listed. Dark Souls is 5$, Witcher 3 and ESO are less than 30.
No flash or daily sales this year. The prices you see right now are as low as they’re going to get. They’re claiming it’s to benefit the customers, but we all know that’s a load of crap.
