The Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition is coming this October giving players a chance to check out more demos and upcoming games.
Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition Starts October 7th
The last Steam Game Festival took place in June bringing with it 900 demos to try. This time the Autumn Edition will last about a week, from October 7th to 13th. The news was announced by Geoff Keighley who is behind The Games Awards and Summer Game Fest which runs the end of August.
Demos can be found during the festival on the Steam hub which share a list of games across the store. It also gives the opportunity for developers to showcase their upcoming games, giving fans a taster of what their game is about.
Last time we picked some RPG titles that were being featured, but that was just a handful of titles compared to the 900 that were available. While it hasn’t been mentioned how many can be checked out this time just yet, games featured must be releasing between October 13 to May 2021 according to the latest post. Hopefully we’ll be hearing more soon as developers opt in. Since this year pretty much all events have gone digital, this is a great way for developers and publishers to get their games in front of everyone.
