Square Enix and Platinum Games showed off 30 minutes of Nier: Automata footage today, in one of our early looks at how the game will look in action. You can check out the video below, beginning at 19:00 and ending at about 50:00:
Despite being in Japanese, there are fewer ways to get an idea of what a game is all about than by watching some gameplay. The footage here shows some mount riding, as well as some of the things that the characters can do with their support PODs who are roving units that help you with a variety of functions.
Nier Automata is launching for PS4 in Japan on February 23rd, and will release on PS4 and PC in NA and Europe sometime early 2017. If you want to learn more, check out our Nier: Automata preview for an idea of what to expect from this stylized Action RPG sequel to the original Nier.

It’s more of an action hack and slash than the standard FF game, even with FFXV moving in that real time direction
Looks rly nice , but i cant tell if its a hack n slash or a FF XV type of mechanic … might have missed smthing
