King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon falls into the action-RPG category. In practice, it plays more like a vertical shooter with RPG elements. It’s available for mobile devices and is set in the Final Fantasy XV universe. King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon was a remake of a 1986 game made by Square. The original game was called King’s Knight.

Square Enix have already turned off in-game purchases. If you want to try this game, you still can though. It’ll remain free to download until June 26’s, when the game’s service will be shut down completely. If you think you’d enjoy it and haven’t given it a go yet, now’s your last chance. Square Enix released the following message regarding King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon being shut down:

“We would like to express our sincerest apologies for ending the service but we hope you have enjoyed your time with the game,” – Square Enix, via Twitter.
