Just when you thought we were done with news on the Nioh front, Sony has dropped a new extended version of the TGS trailer that shows some new cutscenes and action, giving us a look at the story behind the Action RPG from Team Ninja.
This is easily the most cinematic look at the game to date and adds a heft of drama to the game that takes influence from Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls. We see several scenes featuring historical characters in the game and a look at a new boss.

We’ve already played this extensively via the Alpha and Betas as well as some great hands on time during E3 and TGS and it looks better every time. Following the news today about PS4 Pro support and Sony handling publishing in the west, we can anticipate much more to come up to its February 9th release on PS4.

That skeleton boss looks pretty cool!
New trailer looks awesome, I quite like the way they edited the action and the glimpses of some new epic bosses! Excited to see how Sony handles the publishing, hopefully it’ll be a good go
