CRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister is getting a new expansion next month, plus multiplayer support.
Solasta: Lost Valley Expansion Announced for CRPG; Plus Multiplayer Beta Weekend
Good news for Solasta: Crown of the Magister fans as there is a lot happening in the next few weeks, including as soon as this Wednesday where the devs will be hosting a multiplayer co-op dev stream. This kicks off the Solasta Multiplayer co-op Beta weekend happening this week. An expansion called Lost Valley has also been announced plus a free multiplayer update. Phew! That’s quite the CRPG update, let’s get into the details.

Solasta Multiplayer Co-Op Dev Stream
Showing us how it’s done, the developer Tactical Adventures will be livestreaming this Wednesday, March 16th at 9AM PDT/12 PM EDT/5 PM CETÂ on their official Twitch Channel TacticalAdventures. This stream will be showcasing the upcoming Online Multiplayer Mode which will kick off this weekend in beta. Hosted by Myzzrym, as well as Cervando, Acadiantry and M.S. You can join the stream to interact and ask questions about the latest mode.
Solasta Multiplayer Co-op Beta Weekend
This weekend will be the Solasta Multiplayer Beta which starts Thursday March 17th at 8 am PDT / 11 am EDT / 4 pm CET until Monday March 21st 4 am PDT / 7 am EDT / 12 pm CET. If you want to check out the online co-op feature yourself, you will need to access the Beta Branch of the game on Steam.
The multiplayer mode will let players join Custom Campaigns. Custom Dungeons however won’t be available in multiplayer, but the team shares it is fairly simply to convert a dungeon into a campagin.
The online mode lets players team up with friends all over the world, meaning you don’t have to be in the same region in order to adventure together. The host will have all their DLCÂ synced, this means those joining for example can create Druids and Barbarians if the host owns the Primal Calling DLC.
If you run into resynchronization (for example when player A no longer sees what player B sees), the host can save and reload the save to continue.
The multiplayer update will be releasing as a free update on April 14th, which is the same day that the Lost Valley DLC releases, awesome!
If you’re looking for a guide of how to access/use multiplayer as well as convert Custom Dungeons into Custom Campaigns, Tactical will be releasing a few guides.
