Today, Another Indie Studio and Dark Star Studios released the first official screenshots for Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, their upcoming Dark Souls inspired boss rush RPG.

Have a look at the screens:
The screens give a better look at the game’s design aesthetics, and you can see although the gameplay is heavily souls influenced, the visuals are much less realism and have a fantastical, cel-shaded quality. The character and boss models are also stylized. The hud is pretty familiar to Souls fans and is probably at this point a work in progress.
In the game Adam, a fallen soldier on a quest to save his soul, will face eight abhorrent bosses, the first seven each based on one of the deadly sins. Before each clash, Adam must make a sacrifice to enter combat and choose a stat to level down. Along the way he’ll pick up a variety of weapons to help him on his quest.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is scheduled to release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018. You can check out their announcement trailer and details for more. Thoughts on the game? Let us know in the comments!

Inspired is putting it politely, I’d say.
Lots of Demon’s Souls in there too, if the screenshots are a good indicator for the rest of the game.
