Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption Release Date & New Trailer!

The upcoming Souls-like action-RPG, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption  from indie studio Dark Star, finally gets a release date that’s announced in a new trailer.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption – Dated!

Rise thee from the depths of a crumbling kingdom and challenge demonic foes. Choose thine aspects to weaken before vanquishing the avatars of Sin.

This full-on Boss Rush mode game will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on April 25, 2018, and will set you back $18.99.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption  will be published by Another Indie and sees players take the role of Adam. Adam, who is a relic from a forgotten kingdom, is branded with a heavy sin. And desperately seeks redemption, which can only be found through a series of perilous trials.

Fans of FromSoftware’s revered Souls  franchise will have much to look forward to with Sinner.  As the game is built around the thrills of challenging boss battles, but throws in a refreshingly unique mechanic.

It is one that has players “level-down” prior to a battle, effectively weakening themselves. And for which stats will be affected is dependent on who or what they’re facing. You can go ahead and check out its latest trailer down below.

I will probably get this one in due time because the concept of stripping yourself as you progress is brilliant on the paper so I am curious how it turns out.
