Shining Resonance Refrain: Op.1 Moonlit Overture Guide
Shining Resonance Refrain is a remastered version of the original Sega action-RPG Shining Resonance and uses the unique B.A.N.D system which allows your party to team up to play a song together which enhances stats. In this first chapter of the game there’s a tutorial which explains certain mechanics to the player.
From the starting position area, turn-around and head towards the dead end for a potion. Once you have done this, turn around again and encounter the first battle tutorial. There will be 2 red dots (enemies) marked on the map for this floor. Head towards the event marker (!!) to find Yuma Ilvern. After experiencing a cutscene ,players will have control of their character again.
Head towards the next enemy to trigger another fight tutorial. There will be several more Marksmen along with Swordsmen blocking your path. Take them out and use the Save Point before heading towards the next area.
- 2 Marksman
- 7 Swordman
After some story cutscenes, players will be introduced to a new character and take control of Kirika Towa Alma. The game will instruct you how to use Kirika and then pits you against 6 enemies.
After several more scenes which explain the story further, players will head back to Sonia and Yuma. Yuma will join the fray against 3 Swordmans and 1 Markman, after the game instructs you on Yuma’s playstyle. In comes a raven hair Dragoneer but she’s not alone as she has dragons to back her up. Players will fight against the fire dragon whilst the game teaches them how to use Break with guards while enemies are casting spells. The use of Break stuns enemies and will make them more susceptible to damage.
