Shenmue I & II Release Date Outed for August 21st 2018 by Microsoft

Shenmue I & II had previously had their release window set for 2018 but not official date had been announced. However, Microsoft may have just shared the release date for Shenmue I & II with a listing on their store, read on for more details.

Shenmue I & II Release Date Outed for August 21 by Microsoft

In a recent listing post on the Microsoft Store website, we get a release date for the Xbox One release of Shenmue 1 & 2. While Sega have yet to make an official announcement for any platform, it looks like they have beaten them to the punch with listing of the game’s release for 21st August 2018. The description reads as follows:

A tale of revenge. In 1986, teenage jujitsu artist Ryo Hazuki returns to the dojo of his father, Iwao Hazuki, only to witness his murder by a Chinese man, Lan Di. Lan Di steals a mysterious artifact known as the Dragon Mirror. Ryo vows to avenge his father’s death and sets out tracing Lan Di’s path.

While there’s no official word from Sega for release dates we’ll keep you posted with any further updates. Anyone else excited about the duck racing? Shenmue I & II are set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
