FromSoftware action shinobi title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice reaches over 3.8 million units shipped at the end of June.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Shipments Surpass 3.8 Million
Reaching quite the milestone, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has shipped more than 3.8 million units this June. This was shared in the latest financial report from Kadokawa Corporation.
Publisher Activision also reported previously that Sekiro has sold two million units within in its first 10 days after launch according to Gematsu.
Sekiro didn’t follow the usual souls recipe, introducing some brand new mechanics such as Posture, Deathblow, the Prosthetic Arm, and Resurrection. While the title did keep some of FromSoftware’s trademark features such as it’s challenging combat and memorable bosses.
The next title we’re looking forward to is the mysterious Elden Ring, a collaboration between FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author G.R.R. Martin.
