Praise the 2D Sun! The much anticipated Salt and Sanctuary from Ska Studios will release March 15th on PS4! The PC version is due to release sometime this summer with the Vita version also in development for a future release. The game will drop on the Playstation Store for the super reasonable price of 17.99 USD, with pre-orders receiving a 10% discount, bringing the price down to 16.19 USD. It will also be crossbuy, so PS4 owners can play the Vita version as soon as it releases! This 2D conceptualization of the Soulslike genre is the perfect thing for fans of the Soulsborne games to sink their teeth into, especially while they wait for Dark Souls 3!
A doomed sailor is shipwrecked on an uncharted island. In fog-shrouded valleys, where grinning, mossy corpses cling to rusted arms, shambling figures begin to stir. Beneath crumbling, salt-worn structures, labyrinthine passageways lead to unspeakable evil, long forgotten by man.
The 2D hardcore action RPG features over 600 unique items and will be immediately appealing to players who love extensive character building, deep, stylized combat, rewarding exploration and challenging enemies as well as some awesome hand drawn artwork and environments. Initially developed as a single player experience, the game will now feature local Co-op and PvP for you and your favorite couch partner/adversary.
