Resident Evil Showcase Happening this Week

Capcom has announced a showcase that will be going over details for Resident Evil. The live stream will happen on October 20 at 3 pm PT/6 pm ET/10 pm UTC. During the steam new gameplay footage will be revealed for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake. Previously a short teaser for the gameplay was shown but it looks like we’ll be getting to see some further full-length footage of the game.

Welcome back Lady D

The spotlight won’t be on just the remake but also sharing more details on Resident Evil Village Winter Expansion which will be released toward the end of this month. The expansion will focus this time on Rose who will be a fully playable character. This DLC follows the story of RE Village but years later. Not only features a story campaign but also an improved Mercenaries section and probably most exciting of all a playable Lady Dimitrescu and more enemy modes. All in time for Halloween!

The expansion also comes with a new way to play the game with third-person mode. This means players can relive the original campaign of Village but in third person. RE Village will also be getting PSVR 2 support which was briefly shown.

They may also shed some light on the awaited online player multiplayer mode ReVerse. The mode will bring online Deathmatch, putting players to the test to gain the most opponent kills. Playable character Jill and Leon have already been announced.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Rose in the Winter DLC and of course the remake of the classic Resident Evil 4. You can check out some of our playthrough over on our Twitch channel.
