Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed Until 2018, New Screenshots Released

In some bigger industry wide news, Rockstar today announced that Red Dead Redemption 2, their much anticipated western open world sequel will be delayed from Fall 2017 until Spring 2018. The luminary developer had the following statement for fans:

We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

And true to their word, they released the following gorgeous screens:

Always a bummer to see things delayed, but on the bright side, with Destiny 2 coming out this fall, perhaps it’s for the best for everyone involved, including our wallets. There are as of yet precious few details on the game, so we’re looking forward to finding out more this summer.

For real? One would think any new open world game made by rockstar would increase stock…

I mean Rockstar always delay games right? I guess investors these days are pretty dim..
