You can read the full statement below:

Those who may be worried about their existing pre-orders can feel reassured, as according to the website FAQs those pre-orders will still be carried out. While games that have been purchased for other platforms such as Steam, Origin or UPlay will still be valid as long you have redeemed your code prior to the closing date of the Razer Game Store on February 28th which was also stated in their FAQs:

All purchased games will still work even after the closure. In case you haven’t activated your Steam or Uplay keys yet, make sure to retrieve them before February 28 from the Razer Game Store,” states the FAQ. “Your game keys have been sent to your email upon purchase, so you’ll still be able to retrieve them in the future.

Customer Support will still be ongoing but no specific date has been specified for when this will end. All Razer discount codes will become null and void by the end of the month, so best to use those before the store closes to make use of them. Those who have receive gift vouchers will still be able to use them until their specified expiry date.

There’s been increasing competition for online gaming stores recently, not only offering a way to purchase games but also a playable platform. Epic Games opened their digital store front at the end of last year, aiming to provide a better offer in terms of revenue taking a 12% share compared to its competitors such as Steam. Discord has also followed suit with their own store, proposing an even more competitive offer with taking only 10% revenue share from publishers and developers. While the market hots up with more choices for purchasing games, it will be interesting to see how each do in 2019.
