Today, games publisher NIS America made a surprise announcement and revealed that the action-RPG: The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 will be making its way to North America and Europe sometime in 2018, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
Alongside the announcement, the publisher has opened up pre-orders for the game’s ‘Limited Edition’ and merchandise, both of which can be ordered through the NISA Online Store.

Follow the Hundred Knight in its journey through a witch-ravaged world. Young girls are contracting a strange illness and awakening as witches, causing mayhem across the region of Kevala.
Along the Hundred Knight’s side are two sisters: Amalie, an agent of an organization who opposes witches; and Chelka, the witch who awakened in Amalie’s younger sister, Milm. Uncover the mysteries of Kevala as you protect them both from harm.

Man, I didn’t even know they were working on a sequel. I greatly enjoyed the setting of the first game. Had a type of story trope I wish I could see more of in anime. Evil(ish) main heroine makes main male character a supernatural servant, who starts out weak, but then develops into a bad@$$. Didn’t care too much for the gameplay though, even though I much prefer its action gameplay over what a lot of modern JRPGs do. Maybe I’ll give the first game another try. Any info if they’re planning on bundling the first game with this one for the current gen consoles? If so, I might pick it up.
Edit: nvm. I just looked it up and they already have a PS4 edition of the first game.
