Has it finally arrived? A glimpse of that one game most of us yearn from FromSoftware?
FromSoftware – Bloodborne 2?
Amidst The Game Awards 2017, the renowned Souls developer tweeted the following. Featuring a half minute clip with the catchphrase of “Shadows Die Twice.” Have a look at it yourself and decide.

While the teaser definitely has a Bloodborne vibe about it, it’s only 30 seconds long, tells us absolutely jack sh*t, and all the talk surrounding the teaser at this point is pure conjecture. I refuse to get overhyped under the assumption that this is a BB teaser as much as I want a BB sequel (a lot… like a lot a lot). I’d personally love to see what sort of spin FromSoft could put on the Tenchu IP (I freaking love Tenchu), but I’m honestly cool with whatever they decide to throw at us; Miyazaki is the conductor of the hype train, and ultimately I’m just a very honored passenger.
Definetly not BB 2.
Its either a new IP or a new Tenchu game.
Tenchu was my first thought too.
Felt a lot like that puppetcastle from the third game. In parts of that level the music is even quite similar. Although generic eastern music is generic(not that i have a problem with that but it´s not really a clue).
Wishful thinking most likely since a tenchu game with better fighting and a souls game with more acrobatic playstyle in a tenchu world that expands on the horror elements would be what i would do with a tenchu game(also get rid or reboot that awful story and make it open world since the world/feel was the real star of those games)

That sounds very plausible. The 30-second teaser really does feel more oriental than like Bloodborne, and the writing in the background would match up with that better.
Onislayer Greatbow is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.
A unique greatbow handed down in an eastern land, where tales are told of its use in slaying giant horned oni.
Onislayer Greatarrow is an Ammunition in Dark Souls 3.
Large arrows used to destroy giant horned oni in an eastern land. Can only be used with greatbows.
so…
I couldn’t hear the music, but I’ve read a lot of “It’s Tenchu” from speculators saying, “Shadows die twice” is something the antagonist of Tenchu 3 says. Dunno how much truth there is to that though since I’ve never played any of the games.
You guys realize the background music sounds oriental?
I highly doubt this is a new Bloodborne (sadly).
You guys are close but will have to wait for our article for my ideas on what you’re looking at.

Most definitely, the part to the top left of the screen even clenched up, like it was a hand.
Unlikely to be an “Armored Core” game at least.
Asian pirate feel to it. shadows die twice huh? undead/demon ninjas?

To be fair, Dark Souls 3 had a Bloodborne vibe, and Bloodborne had a Demon’s Souls vibe. That isn’t really saying much.

That was my first thought, yeah. If anything, the feeling I get from this is something between egyptian and asian.
The main apparatus in the video looks like some kind of mechanism built into the forearm, where the ulna and radius are.
In-depth analysis article / video on the works!
OMG AT LAST I AM SO HYPED!
