“Overwatch” Free Weekend Starts Now!

If you’ve always wanted to try Overwatch,  now’s your chance. Blizzard has officially kicked off their free weekend for their popular online multiplayer shooter.

Overwatch – Free Play!

The free trial is now live across all platforms, which began at 11 AM PT, September 22nd and will run all the way to September 25th.

On consoles, potential players will need an Xbox Live Gold membership and a PlayStation Plus subscription. While on PC, players will require a Battle.net account that anyone can sign up for free.

Players will be given access to all of Overwatch‘s 25 Heroes, 16 Maps and various Game Modes. In addition, players can acquire Loot Boxes and level up like normal, which does carry over should you choose to purchase the game.

Also, if you enjoyed your time with the game know that Blizzard has discounted Overwatch including:

  • Overwatch Standard Edition – $30
  • Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition – $40
  • Overwatch: Game of the Year ‘Upgrade’  – $10

This sale is valid until September 28 at 11:59 PM PT.

Previously, Blizzard recently released their latest patch that includes a new map as well as radical changes to fan favorites, D.Va and Mercy. You can check out the complete patch notes to keep yourself on top of your game!

Overwatch is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
