There’s a new but yet to be announced game brewing from RPG veterans, Obsidian Entertainment. Who’s currently in a partnership with newly-found publishing label, Private Division. And this mystery game from Obsidian will be led by Fallout’s co-creators Tim Cain and Leon Boyarsky.
Obsidian Entertainment – Private Division
Private Division was brought to light recently by Take-Two Interactive and is headquartered in New York. Its aim is to foster titles from some of gaming’s top indie developers. And also includes other studios working on new IPs such as Project Wight, an upcoming RPG from studio ‘The Outsiders’, which was formed by ex-DICE developers and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from studio Panache Digital Games, spearheaded by Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Desilets among others.
Obsidian Entertainment has created some of the best RPGs in recent memory including Pillars of Eternity, Fallout: New Vegas, Tyranny and many more. Aside from its unrevealed IP, the developer is also working on the anticipated Pillars of Eternity 2, which is planned for a 2018 release. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Obsidian’s unannounced title, which may very well be what they were previously teasing.
