No Man’s Sky Add Multiplayer to Next Big Update
The upcoming update sets out to be the “biggest update so far” according to Hello Games‘ Sean Murray the developer of No Man’s Sky. The multiplayer mode will add the “full multiplayer experience” which will add to this survival, exploration space adventure game.
The team have been testing the multiplayer function for the last six months and sets to give the “a really different feel”.
When No Man’s Sky was originally released there was the missing element of multiplayer function. Although it’s possible to view other players in the game currently as floating orbs of light and converse through voice chat in “joint exploration”, true co-op ability is not present.
