as i said i cleared the game and ng+ on a regular build remember then 99 onmyo 99 spirit that i kept complaining the spells did shitty damage? yeah i used that for my first time and i keep using it as my main char till queen eyes on way of the strong
now my fanatics character is on the same level of uselessness
i’m ok with starting very weak in a game but i wanna end up very powerful as well
no i dont wanna be cheat code powerful i want my efforts to be rewarded
if i farm a shit ton of bosses for materials, waste over 600 divine fragments and forge a thousand gears to get the right inheritance i want it to pay off
i’m asking myself if there is any reason left to get to level max
i even tried respecing into 99 spirit and the living weapon is still shit
if it was just a suzaku nerf that would have been fine but they had to implement that stupidity that makes the gauge deplete faster the more you stay on it
what i the point of leveling if i wont get stronger?
what is the point of grinding if its only gonna make one or two attacks of difference
the unlimited onmyo is a good example of that, no matter who much effort you put in you can only get 50%
my reward is capped regardless of my effort
its like that stupid matchmaking on dark souls 3 if i spent more time grinding i should have a advantage against other players in the arena not be segregated
all builds shouldn’t have the same level of power this takes away all the fun of making good choices its to me what the followers saber is to a good player a attempt to undervalue our progress and effort
i was ok with having my onmyo build being crap but now all build have to be crap as well?
there shouldn’t be a limit on how powerful you can get thsi si why i love disgaea because i can get to a point were i can take on a whole level of enemies with no difficulty if i work for it
in dark souls and now in nioh you will always be weak no matter how hard you dedicate yourself
is that what you people like cause i dont
>
Yea, I didn’t expect it to go away entirely, but hopefully adjust the insane damage values the game couldn’t even register and stop LW from being unlimited.
Looks like they toned down all critical state traits on gear too.
>
So you wanted to be ‘cheat code’ powerful? You can pretty much still do that without exceeding 150.
>
no bullshit dont give that crap
every game is the same thing the souls series, nioh, elder scrolls and any other rpg you can think
you people say you want the game to be hard then you level yourself to the limit and use the most op build just to complaint the game is easy and ask for a nerf
i cleared the game fair and square with a regular build are you happy?
all i wanted was to be powerful is this asking too much?
now it doesn’t matter how much divine fragments, materials and gold i have i will never be powerful
no matter how many divine fragments, material and gold i spend i can never get 100% unlimited onmyo because you people are allergic to power, i can never get infinite living weapon because of you, i can never oneshot bosses all because of you
if you don’t wanna be powerful stop leveling up you asshole
i wanna be powerfull i wanna do those things and im losing one after another because of you
the only reason i play rpgs is because i like to be powerful in the end and you people keep getting the power ceiling lower and lower
aren’t you gonna get satisfied until this becomes like dark souls 3 where everyone uses a estoc and a magic greatshield?
why should i even bother leveling up now if its gonna be mildly the same difficulty when i’m at level max?

Going by some testing I saw over on Reddit, the build still technically works, you just can’t faceroll through everything anymore. It’s still functional, just not nearly as easy as before the patch.
The hyper-mode build was broken, period. There are plenty of other builds you can use to trivialize all the game’s content, so I don’t see what the big deal is.
Honestly, that build was the worst possible thing in the game. You gimped yourself by not running that, and it made the Yokai Gate co-op mode terrible. If you didn’t run that build, purple wouldn’t group with you.
Getting to 750 is already a grind, and is also totally useless because past about level 200 you’ve passed every soft cap.
I’m sorry it killed your favorite way to play, but you can always play offline and delete the patches.

i want you to suffer the most painful a miserable death a human being can possibly experience
congratulation you managed to ruin the game for i hope you are happy now instead of repeated grinding til level 750 it will be repeated annoying gridning untill level 750
seriously i might as well stop playing this shit as well its turning worse than ds3
Got it down for EU just now.
I’m glad they killed the living weapon crit build, that was just absurd. Good thing I’m a “stab you in the back with a sword” guy.
