Sony has released their latest trailer for Nioh 2 which gives a further look into the story, characters and the world.
Nioh 2 Story Trailer Plus Post Launch Content Announced
In the first Nioh, players took up the role of William, a Caucasian man, thrust into the setting of feudal Japan. Nioh 2 takes a different tact, by having players customise their own character, who is hired to take down Yokai. But what’s unique about your character is that they have both human and Yokai in them, meaning they have the ability to use these powers, transforming them into a demonic form with Yokai Shift. Your Yokai form is strong, with many skills and bonuses to choose from.
The trailer also shows off some of the English voice acting, which sounds oddly very British. The characters have mostly been introduced into previous trailers and screenshots but it’s great to see more of them in action.
Team Ninja recently shared that they were using the feedback from the Beta Demo, to make improvements to the game including adjusting difficulty for certain portions.
