Nioh 2 Announced at E3 2018

Team Ninja announced at the Playstation E3 2018 press conference today the reveal of Nioh 2. Following the success of the first Nioh title that was released last year in Feburary 7, 2017 a sequel is in the works.

The reveal shows some of the new deadly enemies that players will be facing off in Nioh 2. The short trailer although did not reveal much of the story or actual gameplay combat, we do get a tagline at the end of the video that reads “Death Defies You…

The release window of the game has not been revealed, but we will keep you posted with upcoming updates.

  1. Yeah I saw that. I honestly don’t care that they took out the leveling and stuff like that, because other games don’t have it and do well like Zelda and Metroid. FROM has an amazing track record, and I’m not expecting to be disappointed in anything they make.

  2. Lich, in another thread somebody posted a reddit link that Sekiro won’t have RPG elements. So that would mean not at all like Nioh.

    Personally, I love RPGs. I love spending hours farming gear, upgrading and experimenting. One of the only reasons I played the recent God of War was due to the RPG elements. It was my first GoW, heck I didn’t even know why Kratos had that weird skin condition. But the RPG aspect, including character development, made me love it enough to stick with it to earn the plat.

    But, trailer was enough for me to buy Sekiro. Looks like From has another masterpiece brewing.

    Quite happy they are making Nioh 2.
